During the summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to work with Designer Moritz Waldemeyer and Fashion Designers Erevos Aether on 3 garments for several performers at the Burning Man Festival. We had to sew, glue and solder several hundred LEDs on to fabric and Acrylic to build costumes that would light up in sync to music played at the festival. I learned a lot about the use of different materials, and various new ways of incorporating technology and fashion together.
